Seek reveal Pro review & teardown

I found it a bit funny that the high-FPS version's framerate is mentioned as ">15Hz" in their datasheet, and indeed 16 > 15. It still looks rather slow for good video though, and I wonder why, if they were going to be export-restricted anyway, they didn't go for the full 30Hz --- maybe due to processing to remove noise? It'd be interesting to see what raw signal the sensor outputs.

Output rate from sensor appears to be 16Hz. The lag suggests they may be doing a moving avarage of a few frames

As mentioned in the video comments, it looks like the frame rate increases significantly when you switch from full frame to normal mode.

Cheapest : Seek Compact pro - phone add-on, framerate very phone dependent
Most useful : Hacked FLIR E4 with lens adjust tool
