Victor 328B video recording problem
« on: April 29, 2023, 09:25:53 am »
I've just received my Victor 328B and was happy to see it works great with its dedicated app as well as the P2Pro and Topdon apps.
However, I'm having trouble recording video on my Pixel 4a phone (Android 13).
The Victor app looks to record but the resulting file is often way shorter than what I recorded and skips entire parts of the video. The P2Pro app only gives me an unwatchable garbled video with horizontal lines and a green part at the bottom of the screen. The Topdon app also skips frames and parts of the video.
I've also tried it on my Samsung Tab A8 (Android 13) but the Victor app only shows a messed up picture. The P2Pro app gives a good image but also problems recording video.
Any idea if this is device or Android version related? It's working perfectly fine in all other modes on my Pixel phone so it doesn't look there's anything wrong with the camera hardware as the thermal image looks perfectly fine during the recording.
Perhaps anyone with more knowledge could take a look at the video files the 3 apps produce and tell what's wrong with them?
