Wow, I had not realised that the flir app has deliberately crippled the sensor's resolution by simple cropping.

Very well done!

Is there a possibility of an option to allow MSX offset for close in work?

Yes. Just drag and drop on the thermal image, as long as you've have activated MSX.

Indeed having MSX enabled you may just drag on the superimposed image and that adjusts the offset to the underlying thermal base to a given extend. I think the offset is good to about 3-4cm distance to the object.

Any hints as to what we might expect from the update? It's all down to priorities, but I suppose landscape orientation of elements could come in handy (as in a welcome ironing of the UI), as well as some sort of panorama mode as per the original Flir app..?

[edit: not that I'm not fond of the original icon, just thought I'd propose something along the lines of the original and spice it up a bit ;) ]
