is Therm-Viewer still maintained and re-activateable?

A phone i had and used my therm-apps with , ,and i got a new one, still have the Therm-Viewer APK and put it on the new one, but the in-app license isn't working- i seem to remember that this was always funky


I noticed though that Jinhua Ye (app author who was active here and on Flickr) hasn't been active recently - is there still any way to troubleshoot /do the in-app license? My cameras are the same-

Did you try to contact by email? Though I recalled that app's license is locked to the camera serial number, so maybe you need to buy another license.
If the app has really turned into abandonware, then... don't worry there is still hacks.

Allright, therm viewer activated properly today- odd, it took a while...

I did not get a email response though, from Jinhua.


This is the sort of thing that has me worry lol that i need to buy a bunch of phones and register my cameras to them with all the various apps for the cameras , since nothing quite compares today(i love my phones with therm app plus, which has visuals that the default app, and thermviewer doesn't even fully match- and no thermal camera + software today i see elsewhere looks as good, - gotta preserve the abilities we have since it apparently doesn't always get better with time)
