Seek ShotPro WiFi

Has anyone had success connecting their Android phone or tablet to the Seek ShotPro?
I have not with the Samsung Galaxy 8 or the Nexus 7. The phone sees the WiFi signal from the Seek ShotPro but the SeekView app says "No Wifi device".
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
