Pomona 1269 Adapter failures
« on: August 17, 2024, 04:11:00 pm »
We ordered 3 Pomona 1269 BNC to Dual Banana adapters from Mouser last Sept.

Been having all sorts of interconnection issues on and off for some time, thinking cheap connectors, cheap adapters, cheap cables and so on. Only to find 2 of these damn Ponoma adapters are the source of the problems :wtf:

We've never had a Pomona adapter, connector, or cable fail, so never suspected this as the source of the problem!!

The center BNC pin to Banana plug is intermittent if you wiggle the Banana plug, so sometimes it's makes contact when inserted into a meter, other times not  |O

Anyone else have any issues with the Pomona 1269 Adapters? Suspect this is a once off manufacturing defect as Ponoma is highly respected and one reason we select their products, so as not to have these kinds of issues  :palm:
