OpenHantek with Hantek6022BE on Win10 PC

Hi,  new guy here!   I just got a Hantek 6022BE and after I got the manufacturer's software working on my Win10 PC, and played around with it a bit,  I started looking around for open source software for it.  That's when I discovered this forum and OpenHantek6022 ( https://github.com/OpenHantek/OpenHantek6022 ).   IMO it has the best user interface that I have seen so far.  So, of course, I wanted to try it.  I started by reading the excellent User Manual ( which IMO is better than the OEM manual).   

While reading I came across this paragraph in the manual:
After starting the program, it searches for a supported device by checking the USB VID/PID of all connected USB devices.  (ie: DSO-6022BE:  VID 0x04B4  PID 0x6022 )
If a scope is found, the firmware will be uploaded and changes the VID to 0x04B5. The PID of the DSO-6022BE/BL doesn't change.

My questions are: 
     1.)  With the USB VID changed can the OEM Hantek drivers still be used?   Since OpenHantek6022 changed the USB VID to 0x04B5 by ( from VID 0x04B4)
     2.)  Do I need to get rid of the Hantek OEM SW and USB drivers and use Zadig (https://zadig.akeo.ie/ )  to install generic USB drivers for OpenHantek6022 to work?   Why is this the case?
     3.)  Will the stock OEM Hantek SW still work with the Zagdig USB drivers and with the USB VID changed the USB VID to 0x04B5?

Sorry if this has been covered in other posts.  I tried searching but couldn't find the information in a single thread.  So I thought that it might be useful to cover it in a new thread.
