How to use the Acquire Function in a DMM?
« on: December 16, 2018, 02:32:01 pm »
I am reading about the Acquire function in a Siglent bench multimeter. I would like to connect the meter probes to a signal output in a circuit to determine when the output changes its state from low to high or the reverse. I would also like to know when the change of state occurred in terms of the meter's time-of-day clock or at least in minutes or hours after starting the acquire mode.

Can this be done with the Siglent meters? This is essentially a logging function. Is this how the Acquire function works in the Siglent meters? If this logging process is possible are there any time limitations to the length of the logging period or the pulse length it can detect?
