Do You use signal tracers now?

I see few old tube signal tracers with 3" speakers https://people.ohio.edu/postr/bapix/Heath_ST.jpg
But why I never seen transistor signal tracers?
Are you using signal tracers now?
Any benefits vs scopes?

Never have. I did use current tracer ( HP-547A ) to find out where my shorted power rail touched the GND though.

Can't think of any beside the immediate audible feedback the technician gains and the built in test signal source.

The signal Tracer comes from the time of the glowing radios.
A Tube is a very high impedance input what you cannot destroy with high voltage.
There is also a indicator tube what help you to see when there is a not modulated HF.
