Vitrek V61 AC/DC Safety Analyzer teardown

Hi - I have this piece of equipment passing through my lab, so I thought I'd tear it apart for you all. You can see specs here. See below for photos of the guts. The toroid transformer is a thing of beauty IMHO.

The first photo shows it with its cover off.

Second photo shows the massive toroid.

Third photo shows a board that I'm not sure of the function of - maybe a control board for the HV along with some sort of regulator or load?

Fourth photo shows the high voltage board. I believe the big black thing is a HV relay. Behind it is a massive HV transformer.

Second photo is the high voltage section from the side - note that it consists of two stacked PCBs.

Third photo is what I'm assuming to be the brains of the operation.

Fourth and fifth photos show the power parts on the heatsink.
