USB Driver(s) for UNI-T oscilloscope
« on: September 22, 2016, 12:30:15 am »
Hi

Could anyone tell me where I can download the sub driver(s) and software for a UNI-T scope:  UTD2052Cl?

I lost this CD that came with the scope and the software seems to have got corrupted.  I have searched all over the net but not found anything yet.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Cheers.

Peter

Thanks Blueskull

I tried that.  The problem seems to be more complicated.   I really need the original disk.  The oscilloscope
does not want to accept anything else.  Really pissed because I had the disk but accidentally left in the IT support office at my school and it went missing.

I only want this so I can show to my students what's on the oscilloscope via a projector.   I am now at the point of considering purchasing a Hantek PC scope.  I've seen one that claims to be 250 MHz with IG/sec sampling, and less than 200 pounds.   At least it would mean that if I was moving from classroom to classroom (which is often), I would not have to lug around the bench top scope.   Still pissed though - I like the UNI-T stuff. For what it is - budget - it mostly does the job, but getting any supporting software to work is difficult.  Had similar problems before with one of their DMM's

IF the DSO software requires NI VISA, the USB drivers are within that package.

Typically for Siglent ausbtmc.inf is supplied in the NI VISA package.
(Possibly in: C:\Program Files\IVI Foundation\VISA\IVI USB Staging)

You need to point your OS to use the correct driver in the correct file location for it to work.
