I had the UTG 1022X-PA, and now i have the UTG2025A.
On the first one i observed, that the burst mode was not working right away, but then somehow it did. Now i have the UTG2025A (V1.23.07), and i found out, it has the same issue. It takes quite a few fiddeling to get it working, and i havent figured out yet what excact steps have to be taken. It has to be done after every reboot. :--

I bough the 2025, because it had some more trigger out / in and sync in/out as the 1022. But unfortunately i just found out that sync is not synchron. Id does drift with time (see picture). The device ran for hours already. These are the settings:
Quote
Sync output channel 1
Channel 1 400kHz
Phase -0.03 (to almost match the edge of channel 2 - burst mode)

Channel 2 burst
50 kHz burst
Ncyc 5
Phase 55°
ext trigger from channel 1

Another things i discovered (the first one in less than 2 minutes after turning it one for the first time:  :palm:

When pushing the button for "Upper Limit", and entering a value with the Unit, the value stays activated, and will be adjustet if you turn the knob. After pushing a button for another option, and setting it up, the "Upper limit" becomes automatically activated, if you scroll over it with the knob.
On other values too: entering the unit, the value is still active for changing it.

Burst does not start on its own when channel is activated after starting the device. And if it runs, it has time delay compared to the sync out.

The blue trace is the sync out. CH1 and CH2 are also CH1 and CH2 on the awg.

This is a kind of a review, and a question, if something could be done about the issues.

Edit:
Another device that does not only have minor bugs, but major bugs:  :palm:

"Modulation in" and "FSK Trig" gives out +-1V spikes when not used.

Sweep setup to start at 30kHz and stop at 400Hz, manually started, starts at 30kHz, stops at 15 kHz. After another trigger, sweeps from 15kHz to 400Hz, jumps back to 30kHz and sweeps to 15kHz.  :palm:

It can be expected for the sync output to drift on cheaper devices. On some of the other lower end models, it isn't even specified at all.
There are small lies, big lies and then there is what is on the screen of your oscilloscope.

Output is beeing driven of the UNI-T UTG2025A without beeing activated, probably because of noise.
And its even measure through a voltage divider, so its twice as high in reality...
And that happend when my microcontroller was connected.  :--
