Firmware Update U1232A

Hello for everybody.

I have checked in Keysight´s site about a firmware update for DMM U1232A and so, I tried.

Before that, I installed the driver for IR/USB interface and tested it using the Agilent data logger software. It worked fine.

However, when I tried to update it, I don´t know what happened. The DMM does not work anymore and the display shows "Pro". Sometimes, trying update it again, it shows "Prou".

Did somebody has the same problem? (The firmware is the same for any U123xA model (U1231A, U1232A and U1233A).

Somebody knows how to recover the multimeter?

Hello.

After some thoughts about it, I decided to try the procedure using other computer (the first one was an Acer Laptop CoreDuo). Using a new computer, I was able to conclude the procedure and update the firmware.

FYI: I used a DYI optic interface / Windows7.

Hi

So what is the difference now that you have managed to re-flash the firmware please?

Has the auto range been improved/sped up?
