New DC clamp mestek CM82C vs old uni-t ut210e
« on: August 01, 2019, 11:08:31 am »
Hi!

I`m looking to buy uni-t ut210e now
But I see mestek CM82C https://www.gearbest.com/multimeters---fitting/pp_009402176983.html
6000 counts in stock and no pink enclosure  ;)
Is it good or bad?

I can`t see range button  :-//

I don't know about this particular clamp, but Mestek's small DM91A was quite reasonable - although with a terribly slow continuity.

Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

SPECIFICATION
Alternate Current 2A/20A/100A ±(2.5%+5)
Direct Current 2A/20A/100A ±(2.5%+3)
Alternate Voltage 2V/20V/200V/600V ±(1%+3)
Direct Voltage ±(0.7%+3)
Resistance 200Ω/2kΩ/20kΩ/200kΩ/2MΩ/20MΩ ±(1%+2)
Capacity 2nF/20nF/200nF/2μF/20μF/200μF/2mF/20mF ±(4%+5)

So the low current range is slightly worse accuracy (+0.5%), but has much wider range (0-6A). AC current and voltage have the same stated accuracy.
Not sure what you mean by range button, UT210E doesn't have it right? But this thing does not have manual ranges, so auto range which is good right.

Its cheaper on Aliexpress as well: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32962090990.html

Are ACM91 and CM82C the same thing?
