Suggestion needed regarding differential scope probe

Hi all
I am currently working on a project where it is needed to attach my scope probes to 220v AC(to watch Triac angle firing).Previously i was planning to buy a Pintek-DP25 & called my supplier.He told me to buy GWInstek GDP-025 instead of the Pintek.I am unable to find any kind of review/usage video regarding GDP-025 on the Net.Is this scope probe any good?Also,I have a rigol DS1102E scope.Can I attach the GDP-025 to my scope?

As far as I know, the GWInstek GDP-025 and Pintek DP-25 are the same.  A quick search shows that seems to be the feeling of others too - e.g. see https://www.eevblog.com/forum/testgear/high-voltage-probes-for-rectfied-220v/msg374643/#msg374643
Further down in that topic is some interesting info about Pintek.

I have the Pintek DP-25, and in fact have been using it this evening to probe a high voltage ultrasonic driver.  I got it a few years back from https://www.globalmediapro.com/ and it was a lot cheaper than the other local suppliers I looked at, but that will depend on shipping to your location.  Some websites show the DP-25 is discontinued (e.g RS), but that is likely just because *they* no longer stock it.

If I was buying a new one today, I'd most likely get one with higher bandwith.  e.g the HVP70 from Dave https://www.eevblog.com/product/hvp70/ which seems pretty good.  But to be honest, I use it so rarely I probably couldn't justify it.

I'd get the differential probes from MicSig. They are cheaper, have more bandwidth and according to my testing have a flatter frequency response.

+1 for the MicSig.  With a $140 street price, they probably offer the best bang/buck.

Although the MicSig probe is cheap,but in India,we have to pay a huge charge for individual customs clearance.That's why I was going for the GWInstek GDP-025 probe because the supplier directly imports & deals with the customs.
