I have been using my new Siglent SDS2304X scope for a little while now. While I am pretty happy with my scope, there is one mechanical issue that has been bugging me since I first placed my scope on my bench. If your bench is above your head, as mine is (see image below), and your bench has a Formica or similar type material surface, then you have already discovered the bench surfing scope bug

This bug appears when you attempt to press a key, channel 4 button for example; and whoosh, the scope slides backwards.
Well, after a week of dealing with the surfing scope, and having to use one hand to hold the scope, and the other hand to press a button, I quickly grew tired of this. The good news is, the fix is easy, cheap, and only takes a few minutes to install.
I had a small sheet of some foam pad with sticky tape on one side. The foam pad I used was about 1.5mm thick which was perfect as I did not want to change to mounting angle of the scope. I simply cut a couple small strips of the foam and affixed it to the front feet of the scope (see attached images).
Now I can go back to using one hand to make scope measurements without worry of the scope sliding off the bench.
Hope that helps:)
