There is a comprehensive review at
https://www.voltlog.com/voltlog-120-mini-dc-power-supply-review/Good points are that it is quite compact, nice looking case and capable of the rated output. Bad points are that the output is quite noisy, no accessible current limit adjustment, silk screen is wrong and they've made a mistake during construction of that unit which means the 5V output current reading is 1/10th the actual value.
The XLSEMI XL4005 is what is providing the short circuit protection so dig into the datasheet for that if you need more information.
If you can get a correctly assembled one and it is cheap then probably okay for basic usage but beware that noisy output.
