22C is about the coldest day in winter here by me. Being close to the ocean 40C is hard to reach, but 110% RH is not. I did live a few years in a town where summer and winter it reached the same temperature every day, 42.5C. Just winter it would be cold at 18C, summer minimum 24C. Very popular place these days, plenty of new building there, close to nature reserves, though I was living in one as well, along with working in one. Gardeners were selecting plants on the basis of "what will an Impala not eat", which was pretty hard to find, as they will quite happily eat prickly pear cactus, and you were pretty much left with sisal and aloes as the only things to plant, and even then they would eat the flowers and new leaves.
