Your eraser would just tear the thing up. PCB is 100x more durable than these tiny paper-thin bits of spring brass.

Dwagon, you might want to check your trigger. Seems a bit loose again.

I never claimed my eraser should be used on your mouse switches. It was just meant as an example of what people might have in their dirty tricks bags for various purposes.

No more, no less.

Peace, brother.  ;)
If I knew everything I'd be starving because no-one could afford me.

Looks familiar, the same channel as the Agilent 54621A scope video, mentioning the connector damage, caused by a forced on older module on the back. Got the HP 803A VHF Bridge showing in the other videos, a few days ago, but not had a chance to watch any more yet.

Edit: not sure about this channel, quick glance at the 8690B video, seemed to be parting it out, for the HV caps & transformer.  :'(

Edit 2: watched part 1 & part way through part 2, he scrapped it, can't understand why, as it was working and in excellent condition, unlike the stuff that appears over here.

Well some crazy here from Royal Mail. So on 1st July I ordered that Tek IC. Still no show despite entering the postal system almost immediately. But wait, a Royal Mail van turns up this Sunday afternoon, an unheard of thing, and drops off something which I ordered on Friday?!?!?!?  :palm:

Does anyone know of a supply of 11mm x 2.5mm vertical mount, single turn, linear, sealed (MIL-spec pref), 500Ω pots? I may need quite a few.

Thats a good channel, thanks for posting this.

I'd love to find one of those K1420 valve voltmeters he has, it would make a nice compliment to this meter.

A reminder for those of us in the Colonies... it's the week after "Piss off, King George!" day, so now's the time to fill up your freezer on discount meats to grill for the rest of the summer.  ;)

Sorry... I guess I did lump you in with Zoli busting my chops about using abrasive to service those micro-switches...  :-[

Anyways... since you asked nicely, I might actually make a point of laying out the contents of my little Bag of Dirty Tricks for a quick show-n-tell; as long as I don't include a few dangerous items that aren't appropriate for a family thread. ;)
