Google found me the datasheet for them but it's written in some funky language I just can't understand, attached. Eastern European country maybe.... I don't know
I guess it's  a 723 voltage regulator then... with special specs ?

Sounds like you might be a fan of ultra-skeuomorphic interfaces. I'm not, but they are better than the modern over-reaction of flat buttons and indicators which are too easily confused with each other and the background and non-functional GUI elements.

I think Apple actually get the calculator interface on macOS about right. It's flat, yes but the buttons are obvious. And yes it's RPN.



Also has a very handy programmer mode



Oh and it also ships with "dc" on a terminal if that's your thing

Yeah, the jumble of characters that the czech language represents to the uninitiated can be quite intimidating. Sadly, these are not OCR'd so translation is no super-straight-forward. Option 2 is your best bet here, and if you really have to know a specific parameter(usually, you won't anyway) a few educated guesses and comparisons to a more legible datasheet are the way forward - at least the "symbols" like Uz, Ucc etc. are mostly the same, so you'll get by. East-european datasheets of this vintage are not highly measured and tightly toleranced anyway (they make up for it by having detailed schematics of the IC though!) Tl;dr: Just assume it's a LM723 and go from there.

But not on other things; I remember with relief HP's invention of "3D" buttons and indicators that showed you they were a button/indicator and "moved" when you pushed them. Tell me, does white text "Off" on a black background mean that it is off or you click it to turn it off. (Ditto black text on white)

But that colour scheme; WTF?! Looks like it was designed by a 9yo girl that thought the girl's toys in Toys-R-Us are the height of sophistication!

Pretty sure the color scheme is a byproduct of the theme set on the device. At least it appears so on my daughter's iPud.

Well I mostly use the keyboard or just use dc so shrug 

As for the colour scheme, it's fine. It'd be worse if they let engineers design it

How time flies. This is my grand daughter. Senior prom. Wasn't it just yesterday I held this little baby in my arms? 

Anyway. The girl has a 3.9 GPA and wants to major in AI. You go girl!  I'm not sure what college she decided upon yet. I'll find out at her graduation party on the 26th.
