At the risk of becoming a member of the TEA fraternity, Friday morning I walked into a thrift store looking for a dead toaster (as a source of some NiCr wire). I left with a dead toaster and a Tektronix 2215 CRO. A month back I acquired a HP-8111A function generator. The HP had a aged/cracked Rifa safety cap (seems to be a common story), but otherwise appears fully functional. The Tek scope shows minimal signs of life (i.e. beam finder works), but the input channels are not displaying. I’ll look into that when I have more time.
That’s all, and no I’m not looking for more vintage TE (or, why don’t I ever find a nice spectrum analyzer).
