FedEx has been juggling the HP 5340A. The initial arrival date estimated by eBuy was this coming Monday, based on the fact that it was being shipped via ground. Thing is, it's coming from New Jersey, basically a state-and-a-half away. That night I got a notification it would arrive on Wednesday, perfectly reasonable if it was shipped immediately as NJ is normally an overnight for ground shipments, but I didn't seriously expect it would be that fast. Of course, no joy yesterday. Last night, another notification that it would instead arrive today popped up.
Now to the tracking history.
FedEx got their hands on it in Moonachie, NJ at around 1815 on Tuesday the 18th.
It was "picked up" in South Hackensack, NJ at 2000 on the 18th.
It arrived at South Hackensack, NJ at 1940 on the 19th (?? - did it take a ride to nowhere and back?)
It left South Hackensack at 2158 on the 19th.
It arrived in Middletown, CT at 0245 on the 20th (this morning)
At 0339 this morning, it was flagged with a delivery exception for an unreadable bar code label, which was allegedly replaced.
And there it sits, no further updates since. Perhaps it will make it here
tomorrow... Shipping something from basically one state away shouldn't be this complicated.
