anyone know what a 5232L-4B or 5245-6001 is used in? (guess they will make good organ donors for the boards i have documentation for)
I was correct and needn't have bothered risking further aggravation to my back; I already had pics...
thanks! good to know that they will work in the low speed slot of a 5245l. will try them out there and see if mine are functional or belong in the repair pile.
edit....oh wait. you said slot A16-17. that would make them 5 Mhz boards?
edit 2 doh! needed to look twice at the picture.
He's right too (it's not for
A17, that is the high speed counter board
without display), I looked at the 5243L manual last night & already had the info saved for the later 5245L cards.
The 524
3L only uses one 5232L-4B for A16, it does however describe it as the 2-MC (2MHz) decimal counter.
The older 524
5L uses two 5232L-4B for A15 & A16, the manual upgrades it to a 5-MC (5MHz) decimal counter.
As the label is missing from A16 in my 5243L I couldn't use the pictures to check.
