*Drum roll please* Finally, some photos of the RM564.
It is a rare occurrence when I have time, decent sunlight and available space with both SWMBO and dog not present.
Here is the main unit itself. It looks decent, although it has a bit of dust and dirt.
The installed plug-ins are the Type 63 differential amplifier and the Type 2B67 time base.
Two additional plug-ins came with it; another Type 2B67 time base and a Type 3A72 dual-trace amplifier.
It is a bit difficult to remove the plug-in on the right side. I assume a bit of mechanical adjustment will take care of that.
This pleases me. Not because the unit is supposedly out of calibration, but the provenance
The Type63 plug-in was used for the robotic arm project for the space shuttle.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CanadarmI have something to do. The red knob selects to invert channel 1 of the 3A72 dual-trace amplifier.
The switch looks fine in the normal position. Look more closely, or come back after looking at the next picture.
However, instead of moving the sweep for the inverted position, a whole chunk of the switch moves.
I think it makes sense to start a separate thread for the LARGE photos and for the project itself.
Let me know what photos you would like to see, in addition to what I think is interesting.
EDIT: fixing images, as expected. Note that these are the SMALL images.
