I was hoping bitseeker could be given the honor of the 100,00th post but I think he's too busy. Well, congrats to the person whoever it will be!

Seems, some people are interested in this Sisytronix 547 cup.

Price: EUR 15 per cup plus shipping plus additional fees (customs, VAT etc.)

Picture is showing orientation right side. Other available orientations are: front side, left side

Btw, right side means "inside". Outside means "left side" - this can be seen by others while drinking coffee (right-handed people).
Please consider that and let me know if you want to change the orientation.

Nickname number of cupsorientationcountry
med6753 1right sideUSA
bd139 1right sideUK
RolandK 2right sideGermany
cyclin_al 2right sideCanada
Henrik_V 1left sideGermany

Please let me know until 6th of September, if you want a cup as well.

Didn't know that changing your orientation was that easy  :)
Just kidding ...
As for phones while visiting the US ...
I usually go with the t systems prepaid monthly plus the call home option for 10 bucks. Gives me unlimited calls, loss data plus unlimited calls home for about 60 dollars.
Works fine with Google phones, I usually grab a used prev gen pixel from craigslist upon arrival and continue using it until it falls apart. That way I hat a sacrificial phone that doesn't hurt me financially or in case of loss.
If you are in need, I have a pixel and pixel xl that I could send you.
@ med or I could send the pixel to Mounty who can include it with the coffee mug

That's as good an excuse as any to light up these nixie tubes I guess ! :-//

Edit : FFS this bloody forum won't let me insert the full size image in-line, no matter what. Can someone fix this forum ?!

Dave broke the plug in sometime ago when he installed a second picture handling one on top of an existing mod  :palm:

SMF native doesn't currently do inline images so it has always been a mod to get that functionality. Not a difficult fix as it will be less than 10 lines of code but as he has likely broken the core code by overwriting a few lines it will need to be done in the files themselves and reinstalling a mod randomly without fixing the issue is likely to do something really buggy  :scared:  . I have offered in the past so  :-//

LOL I remember. I had an SMF forum for a few years and I remember inserting those god damn mods that people wrote. Then trying to fix whatever mess they made when they didn't uninstall properly.

Get yourself a Caterpillar S62 for less than £500, and you've got a waterproof, mil-spec phone with a decent FLIR camera built in.

Worth it

You would post anything to try to make it to the 4000th page wouldn't you ?!  ;D

EDIT : OH I was the one it seems !!!  :-DD

And the video is an obvious fake too!

Aka PHP rats nest  :palm:

Only a rats nest if you don't know your way around the code  ;) The mods are fairly easy to find what the uninstall broke as you can parse the install to see what files it mods and compare against the core.

This one is one of the better ones and Dougie has kept it current for a very long time https://custom.simplemachines.org/index.php?mod=3770

What's weird is that SOMETIMES it works ! Like xrunner TM500 picture just above !!

So it's not just broken.. it's also temperamental ?!  :-//

EDIT : OK no, it was a linked image hosted somewhere else... don't want to resort to that, so I will just call it broken and give up on it for now...

EDIT #2 : OH, looks like I just hit the 1000 post milestone, I am in the 4 digit league now !  ;D   Do I get a cookie or something ?!......

Mods themselves can make me anxious, but it's the ongoing maintenance aspect which scares me.

I have actually ported forward a couple of no longer supported (by the original developer) to newer versions of SMF. Far from ideal but it can be done. The issue with any mods installed here depending on their function is the next generation of SMF is overdue for release so plenty of them won't be ported across and soe of the popular ones functionality has been included into the core.

I must say I am kinda surprised and disappointed at how few " 4000 " TEA pictures we got, was expecting much more than that ! :-//

However...  I am not worried the slightest bit about the 100.000th post, it will trigger a tsunami of pics !!! Can't wait to see what people will come up with !

EDIT : OH no fuck me, it's me again and I did NOT even do it on purpose !! It's all your fault, posting while I was composing this very message !!! :blah:

Now I am under an obligation to come up with a 100.000 TEA pic and I just don't have the technical means to do it !  |O

Me, for a short time. Plus it is my favourite film's (think: A Space Odyssey) page too.

Med wasn't the only one to think of how to gamify this. Hence my asking about the 99999th post - but that was less brazen than med :)

Now, do I want to leave bd's post as 100K?
