Ummm... yeah. Speaking as someone who has literally done dozens of ground-up automobile builds and who loves this kind of work (except on my daily driver ), some of which were in fact electric, I can tell you for a fact you don't know what you're talking aboot.
EVs have their place, plus we already know they can perform as well as or better than their ICE-powered cousins. And this is with technology that is literally in the "Model T vs steam engine" stages of development.
The next few decades will, whether we old-school motorheads like it or not, yield more and more powerful & reliable EVs... and along with it, lots more open-source control electronics similar to the dozen or so aftermarket EFI systems commonly in use by ICE hotrodders today.
Point being... you can either learn to love this technology, or be run over by it. Hating it is just a sure way to a shortened lifetime full of ulcers.

That's OK Dwagon ! I get it, you like them. You can like them as much as you want, it's fine with me ! As I said to each their own !
Just don't be a dictator and force me to buy one that's all !
As for ICE disappearing, not any time soon !
Battery powered EV's are just a joke ! Hydrogen ones OK, only viable option, it's already on the market and works fine. I would drive one if really I were forced into EV's by law in 40 years time, though I would already too old by then to be driving anyway so wouldn't really care...
But your long haul A380 or cross country 40 ton semi-truck or 350 meter giant cargo boat that goes around the globe to shit Amazon packages around.... yes, I am sure their electrification is round the corner !
Anyway, don't want to argue with Dwagon, he always wins for he never gets tired of typing long replies !
I do because I am only human. So for my own sake, I give up right now !
Plus I don't want to pollute TEA for much longer than we already have... you gotta save some bandwidth for coffee guns and politics and god know what subject might come next !
