Hey Tautech. Nothing too special, I only really started getting my own TE when I left my job 'on the tools' last January for an office job. Regarding multimeters, I've got an Amprobe AM-535-EUR, Fluke 83V, Fluke 25, Uni-T UT89XD, couple of Aneng M11s and old DT830s, and an analogue meter (can't remember the brand!). I ordered a Flir DM66 a few weeks ago as they were on offer, it still hasn't arrived though due to Brexit border problems apparently. I will do some brief reviews of them when I can!
Cheers,
Doddy

One cannot have too many DMM's. Or scopes. Or power supplies. Or frequency counters. The sky, space, and floor loading is the limit.  :-DD

Indeed.  20ºC is where the habitable zone starts.

Welcome to my world. This is from yesterday, and it was around 0°C -- overnight it's gone down to -7° since it stopped snowing. We've got some 100mm during yesterday.

100mm? Pffft....amateurs. Try 600mm.  ;D

I have such beautiful memories about your world. I was there very often close to the polar circle to test drive cars at low temperatures on frozen lakes.
Yes, it was cold, about -35C, but I liked it.
It is amazing. Polar lights, wild, calm, relaxing and beautiful landscape. Such a silence. It looks like only his majesty king winter is the one dictaning the rules and everybody is bending their knees.

And I do not want to start to talk about salmon... mmmmmm....

The only thing I heard in sommer the mosquitos are the one replacing king winter. If this is true I am glad I was there only in winter.

Slightly considering that. It will be suffering from the SMD capacitor plague most likely and require some trace repairs which could be difficult to work out. Possibly worth it if it’s not too buggered. Doubt there’s anything else wrong with it.

I wouldn’t put down more than £100 though which is probably what I can get for the parts if it turns into a BER job.

That's true. Get up above the treeline in the mountains and you'll lose the bugs. Below I've had good success with some of the more modern repellants, and sleeping in a hammock with integrated bug net. Our defense research establishment had one researcher spend her entire career on mosquito control. She found out that Artemisia vulgaris is quite effective. Problem is that we've got quite a few people who're allergic to that.

The official boat anchor transporter.

Not for people bigger than 180cm (height). Not enough room on the driver seat.
