OK Boys, get your minds out of the gutter. You won't be able to FIND the gutter until sometime this Spring.  :P :-DD

Just been watching on TV some stupid drivers trying to drive in snow by revving the engine and spinning their wheels  :wtf: Probably have near bald tyres as well, don't they understand that gentleness in all inputs is key when there is snow and or ice around and also it is important to have good tyre tread to give grip  :palm:

As of 07:30 hours. It's not done yet. Winter Storm Warning still in place until 16:00 hours today.

I think the amounts exceed the last large storm 3 years ago.

I'd happily send you the 4 inches that dropped here overnight. Good thing I wasn't planning on going to work today...

Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

My subconscious tells me that any good vehicle should have a clutch  >:D  I own both stick shift and automatic vehicles.  The current truck is automatic.  I am jealous of those getting the snow ... so close but not close enough.  Over here, we need snow to prevent destroying skis on the rocks hidden underneath.  The snow is so thin that I was able today to drive the truck through the yard to the back door to deliver a new hot water heater; driving like that should not be possible this time of the year.  Later this week, I will be practising my soldering, but that skill will have little carry-over to electronics.  :'(

EDIT:  but SWMBO will be happy to have the shower working again

As soon as it's daylight here I'll show you significantly much more than 4 inches.  :o :o

You’d be surprised the amount some of HP’s logic analysis tooling goes for. The big analysers are worth SFA for some reason though  :-//

I haven't had a compelling need to venture outside here yet, so I haven't.  That said, it looks like at least a foot fell in these parts - the drift on the garage roof outside the bedroom window is about 2 feet deep.  Skies are still a solid overcast, but I don't think the clouds are too thick as it's pretty bright out there.  Looks like the snowthrower and I will be getting a workout later today.

(And this is my fault - one night last week as I was drifting off to sleep I foolishly thought "Wow, this winter has been nice and mild so far - relatively warm, and no snow since December!"  The next day is snowed here and has been cold since, and now we have this.  Evidently my thoughts have triggered the wrath of the weather gods!)
