@Tony,

Thanks for the tip on the PM6666 parts mule. I contacted the guy and 3 days later the TE arrived
for the indicated price of 30 euro's. I will post some pictures when I'm done.
BTW, the "mule" wasn't as "muled" as expected. Also the main board is fully functional.
Installed RAM serves the 65, 66 and 69 varieties.
And plenty room for a backlight modification.

The supplier has a nice assortment of used TE. For EU buyers a solution, by avoiding prohibitive US shippng fees:

Thanks,  Frans

Ehhh...  even though there is such a thing as lasagna I still enjoy pizza (crispy thin crust please, but fuck anchovies to hell with a steamroller for all eternity) and spaghetti with-a meat-a ball-a, so I'm pretty sure I won't stop loving that flavor combination, even if only for the memories of my youth. ;)

<------------Loves anchovy pizza.  ;D

Not only do I enjoy the taste but enjoy the gross factor that everyone else seems to have.

We Italy we are still immune against the pineappleonpizza virus.
The situation is somehow much worse than the glorious past, we had some sporadic cases on our territory.

Sometime I can't sleep at night thinking about a tropical fruit on a (should be italian) pizza.

On other news, italians who lives in Germany are spreading the virus among their communities so they will finally loose the taste sense...

Most pizza restaurants in Sweden are run by people from what was Yugoslavia, which means that a very common crossover is Döner Kebab on pizza.  I love me my Döner. But I want my pizza without it.  The pineapple pizza is not my favourite, but I've had it a couple of times.  It is something else than italian pizza. And I should know; I drove to Naples last summer, and had it there. I like it like that.

How far is it from you, personally I wouldn't risk sending this by post or courier, high risk of frame handles getting broken off.
I've got a 300+ mile round trip this weekend for a item of HP TE.

David

P.S. Not really surprised at some sellers only offering collection for larger/heavier TE, they probably don't have the time to pack it, especially if they are tasked with clearing a relatives house for example.

Too bloody far, well over 200 miles each way.

My Fluke 8300A survived being mailed. If it's well enough packed, no reason there should be a problem.

I haven't tried it to be honest. Historically that doesn't always work as a relisting is different to a new listing. It's worth checking. You can get a list of auctions which the discount applies to from the sales overview (bottom - check offers) which is worth doing after you list anything anyway.

My cousin tripped over this a while ago. Sold a MacBook Pro for £1200 on a. £1 listing day. It took 44 days to sell and he got a surprise £120 final fee  :-DD
I have done that delisting and then relisting it, with slightly changed wording order or changed details and it works.

At least as was taught to me in Home Ec, the history of what we call pizza (the particular combination of open-faced pan-bread, with cheese and sweet tomato sauce) is a bit more... American. This was devised by Italian American immigrants; they couldn't get locals to buy Calzone due to racism-fueled distrust of the contents, and eventually they started making it open-faced so their customers could see the ingredients. Soon being able to pick your toppings turned into a feature of the dish, and a international phenomenon was born.  :-//

That's still no excuse for anchovies. Here, let's put some blobs of axle grease on there while we're at it...

Thanks, it would be a nice meter if the probing head wouldn't be missing. Without it, it is nearly useless, therefore the low price.

Is that the Queen and Duke doing a pub crawl?  :P :-DD

Don't be silly, it was the Queen Mother who used to go on East End pub crawls. If you don't believe me, go into any East End pub that was open while she was alive and you'll find a picture of her pulling a pint*.

*This is true, for some reason the Queen Mother seems to have pulled a pint in about every other East End pub and there's photographic proof of the event on the wall.

Whereas Princess Margaret used to go to West End bars?

Maybe he's one of us, and this is his BOT/TETRIS amelioration tactic... If he can show a reasonable attempt to unload some of it, the grief level drops a few dB...?  :-//
