K... still think I'd prefer the bun toasted dark with ham & Swiss. But not in front of anyone doing the Lent thing.  :-DD

It’s America. Calling it meat is a big unfair on meat.

No, I wanted a large fries and skip the lettuce in the Whopper... Yeah I know!, whatever you call it here... add random Arctic Monkeys lyrics as required... Yeah, Tracy was right, we should have gone for a Kebab.

Making you hungry isn't exactly what one would call a challenge, is it?  :)

Heads up all you UK Tek fan boys, this I just stumbled upon while searching eBay.

Might be of some interest to someone here, who knows?, its collection only as the seller says in speel, it was already sold once and Hermes Fecked it up.   https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/333788028412

I don't think that would have survived with any courier/postal service given the inadequate sized box they used (see pics 10,11), if they had put the handle at the front & packed with 2-3 inches of foam all around then it probably wouldn't have got trashed in the first place.   David

Yeah, being paranoid about just that kind of mauling is why I spent 2 daze making this cover for the 454 I sent bitseeker.  ^-^

No regrets.
Thats the issue with a lot of sellers, they first have no idea of the actual value, then they have no comprehension of the packaging required to protect something during transit geez  :palm: :scared:

True. Mostly this is because my daughter is attempting to cook something from a Japanese recipe today and it smells really bloody amazing. Katsu Ramen with boiled eggs. A glorious combination of carbs and some more carbs and way too much protein!

The bun is way too sweet for that. It's not a roll, it's a sweet bun. Now, parts of Northern America have no meaningful way to distinguish between those; both bagels and muffins are definitely on the sweet side from my perspective and most North Americans have only heard of truly dark bread as  something one might find in strange places in Pennsylvania or Brooklyn.  Or in MRE's from Germany (Dosenbrot, typically).   But you gotta believe me on this: ham and "cheese" (only the posh have actually seen proper cheese in the US. I base this on having to go to a Whole Foods to find Gruyère in Vegas. They had whole grain bagels too. Made for a week of nice breakfasts.) on that bun is a no-go.

I am having fun with this!

I picked up an Agilent thermal camera locally but it was missing all the accessories it shipped with and I've been having a blast with it so far but the manual for it seems to be lacking in a few places, eg. I didn't see any details about what SD cards are supported and the 64 GB one I picked up for it yesterday appears to be too large.  The camera can't format it, I tried exFAT and FAT32 formatted on my laptop but still no go.  Grabbed an old 2 GB card out of my old Canon Powershot A470 and dropped it in and everything worked fine even though it's formatted FAT16 and had all the files from the Canon on it still.  At least I've got something to save images to now.

Saw that. I’ve had crustier ones. It’s not even that far from here. About 40 minutes. But no!  :-DD

Now this is crusty: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/164514623221

All this guy's stuff looks like it's been prepared in a cement mixer; the PL320QMT in particular is laughably valued at £175. I wouldn't give £17.50 for it. Shipped.

I have one too, nice equipment. "Supports up to 32 GB SDHC memory card with class 4 and above." says the manual.

just watched daves latest video on smd thermal jumpers and was disturbed to see the placement of a series of various calculators in the shot (while  doing his white board talk).

there is no reason for the calculator to be there and i find the practice distracting, disturbing, annoying, and gratuitous.

to settle my nerves i took a picture of my foxhound asta.
