actually jet A1 and some thickener makes a wonderful weed killer.

Then all you need is a match, poof job done  :-DD

And what's more you get to do it again when the new foliage regrows from the roots.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

Oh, Top Gear, that's what my 12yo wants to watch with me. I countered with Paris, Texas (Wim Wenders, 1984) last Friday. "Dad, your movie selections are entirely incomprehensible."

Edit:
In original Top Gear, I can only stand May. The other two are completely off, shallow caricatures of the dude/bloke/ member of Rüdesheim Opel Manta club type.

I totally agree. I would prefer Jim Jarmusch's Down by Law to top gear any time.

I'd very much like to watch Babylon 5, Justified, Mash, or Vikings instead.

Update regarding that PS damaged in shipment: I was able to remove the sheared off thingies without too much hassle. Most of the damage (excluding the bezel for that Amperemeter) seems to be limited to a couple of standoffs, screws and the protective cover. This in fact should be replaceable for a few euros.

This is how to properly evaluate such repairs when dealing with dingdongs on fleaBay who can't be arsed to pack shit properly:

Parts to repair PSU     : 5 quid

Knowing how to do it  : 500 quid

Being arsed to do it    : HOW MUCH MONEY YOU GOT, BITCH?!?
when you bought a
working PSU, DAMMIT!

The previous  setup with mat Matt Leblanc was also very  good and the current new team looks pretty  good

No sh1t!  I was a salesman for Nabisco back in the 80's and Newark and surrounding area was my territory.  Company car broken into if I forgot to remove cookie samples, high schoolers yelling, "Hey white bread, wanna step out of that car and fight?" and armed security in all the supermarkets.  On the plus side, all the little mom and pop grocery stores in the Portuguese section of the city.  It was my area for 7-8 years and I got to know all the owners well, if I made the 'mistake' of showing up at lunch time for an order, I had to sit in the back and have fresh cooked lunch with a glass of home made Sangria. They would not place an order if I didn't.  I learned not to show up at lunch because I couldn't afford to get drunk with a company car.

So I don't really follow the TEA thread anymore since it blew up to the point that there are 20 pages to catch up on if I don't drop in for a couple days.  But I thought I'd drop back in to see if people here are aware of the existence of...

It's FINALLY Here!!!

After WEEKS of anticipation... I can now present to you: THE STICK OF WISDOM.

I've been waiting weeks for this thing; Canada Post is slower than moleasses in January right now, I swear. :palm: Y'all talked about it; I DID it. Spent $54 Canadian pesos (~US$39) to get this thing; one of these has been on my "want" list ever since I saw the April Fool's Day eBay listing for one we talked about years ago. Never, EVER imagined one would actually come across my RADAR such that I could actually get it.

Special thanks to bean, our resident corner pusher, for bringing it to my attention: eBay auction: #184193415940    :-+

For me it's a keepsake of my time as a HP ASP; I had dreams of one day becoming a proper payrolled HP Tech, but alas it was not meant to be. My HP rep told me many stories of working with HP's "Old  Guard"; even chatted with a few of them on the company BBS a few times. *sigh*

Guess I'll just have to console myself with dreams of stalking the halls of HP Corporate; hunting that batshit crazy Fiorino bitch with my trusty P/N 19511-80014 in hand...
>:D

Congrats, mnem! What are ya gonna :horse: first?
