This list works well for a list of nice Ender Pro upgrades. There is a heap of other ones but most of them do little to ZERO to help get a better result. The other good addition is to replace the Bowden with Capricorn tubing and fittings.

I believe I've read that the fellow behind DDMCheckPlus also does custom orders; you may wish to try contacting him about a version with 10V output: https://dmmcheckplus.com/

Good hunting,

mnem
 :-/O

10V would be convenient, but I can guage accuracy of a DMM with a 5V source as well. But it's still 'only' 0.007% accurate. No improvement over the suspected 200uV or so on the one I have not  :-[

Pity, it's just only 5V but otherwise very interesting:
https://www.welectron.com/DMMCheck-Plus-Multimeter-Kalibrier-Referenz

Some thing. And I wouldn't get uncalibrated stuff of eBay. That would just be like adding more question marks to the equation.

AB-precision is a forum member here, too. (ap, https://www.eevblog.com/forum/profile/?u=120589)

Perhaps this could be an option:

Edit: you've beaten me.  :-DD

Edit2: if AB-precision is refusing shipping to you, I can play proxy and ship it to you, then. :)

Wish I had that space  :-DD

Due to the Covid situation, I got shot slightly. As I no longer have anyone raising one eyebrow on my equipment sprawl I decided to migrate my bench to two benches facing each other. One for computer stuff (day job) and one for electronics stuff. Alas Covid-19 came along and shot that. Firstly because the table that usually lives behind me has been converted into a temporary workstation for school stuff and on it resides another desktop PC and a laptop, and secondly because Ikea is closed so getting a matching desk is not happening  :--. Due to this all my electronics stuff is packed away in cupboards and/or under beds at the moment and probably won't be coming out for weeks.  :'(

Only thing out at the moment is the 3D printer and that's only because it lives where it's safe (in the fireplace  :-DD)
School work can wait. Or just electronics class the next few months.

3D printing is on my list, need to see some more reviews to find an affordable but nice one.
it will needs to wait a few mounts ;-)

Ender 3. Mine worked out of the box. No futzing and no problems so far other than the supplied extruder drive wore out and was replaced with an aluminium one and I switched to a glass bed which was nicer. Just works!

First print-and-paint that I did for my youngest....

The line around the middle of the nose was where the printer got knocked  :palm:

I am actually having the day off school work today so I'm inclined to agree.

A nice opportunity for Germans to get a Tek 555

https://www.ebay.de/itm/143592281103

(not affiliated with the seller.)

5 hours before the end it stands at a mere 66 €.

I'd kinda want it ...  :palm:

[edit]
Just saw that the power supply is not included but another auction. That one is already at 91 bucks

That's all they'll offer? They would have to pay me a lot more than 66 € to take that anchor.  :-DD

And now for something completely... ON TOPIC.

Stumbled across these while noodling around bang-'em-good for 3DP parts. No shit; actual honest-to-goodness brand-new CROs. Prices are ridiculous, and qwality is dubious at best... but still, somebody (Google-Fu sez they're made by HongKong Longwei) still manufacturing CROs in 2020. Huh.  :o

For a good chuckle over lunch, go read the product listings; the Chinglish and utter ignorance of the product is awe-inspiring.

Let us 'Enable you' over here  >:D https://www.eevblog.com/forum/chat/3d-printer-yet/msg3051888/#msg3051888 but ans Ender 3 Pro is a good and easy one to start with.
Creality CR10 any good?
I own a CR-10S as well but the Enders now get more use.

You might want to get in on the CR6-SE; the KickStarter is up and has already secured $550,000 of their $100,000 goal in like 6 hours. There are still like 150 slots left for the $319 buy-in... there were 220 slots when I logged in for mine.  :scared:

If they deliver half of what is promised, it's going to revolutionize "hobbyist-grade" 3DP.

Cheers,

If you're serious, do NOT wait. I missed the $265 bracket by like 10 minutes; by the time I got all my shit updated so I could check out, the $299 bracket was gone and only 200 slots left in the $319 bracket. :palm:

Right now 125 80 slots left at $319; next single-unit bracket will be $339, and folks are already buying into that. Why?  :-// Damifino.

BTW a quick "fuck amazon in the butt" comment. Their driver either stole or delivered my shit to a wrong address again. £270 of SSD and my bloody coffee the bastards.  :--

They have replaced the call centre with a shitty expert system that pretends to be a chat bot as well which you have to work around to get to a human who doesn't speak a fucking word of English.

That's the next year of your life gone, then :)

Don't understimate the complexity of the toolset, especially when it has to knit VHDL with timing and placement, with ARM peripherals, with ARM C code, with one or two different OSs (e.g. Linux on one core and an RTOS on the other).

Bonus points for understanding which files it is necessary and sufficient to store in a version control system.
There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

Oh, those hosers... they just added another 1000 slots at the USD$319 bracket. Now approx 480 of 1500 slots left in the bracket. ::)    They're now at $620,727 pledged of $100,026 goal.

Still... glad I got in when I did.
