Just over 12 hours until the weekly Chat session for any newbies or those casually passing by or those who need a reminder. Don't have a Mic don't worry there is a Text bit so you can just listen along or throw a well placed text bomb at those with Mics if you want to >:D

Topics up for discussion Life the Universe and of course the TEA virus  ;)

I’m out today. Had round two of this infernal disease last night. Hit 39.8 degrees and burned up for 4 hours. Feel like I’ve been hit by a bus. Just when I thought it was getting better. Grr  >:(. So far no worse than normal flu but still don’t recommend it. At least I’ve got an excuse to have a few days off work now  :-DD

Had round two of this infernal disease last night.

If that is news, it is very bad for us all.

Good luck.

So sorry to hear that, you better lockdown real tight and take good care of yourself, that is a real fever you have there. Monitor yourself and check with 111 for advice.

Thank you. This is normal progression apparently. Light symptoms on week one, horrid ones on week two, recovery in week three.

Yeah got spreadsheet going as always  :-DD.   I know a couple of people at the local hospital and it’s not particularly rammed at the moment apparently.

That is not good. I think it's time to seek medical attention. At least rule out corona if it is nothing more than the flu.

It’s not an issue yet. I’ll seek help if required. Statistically speaking it is 95% probability of being symptoms of this class with no further outcome, have no underlying health conditions (just had medical) so low probability of a life changing issue.

Absolutely no symptoms whatsoever. Kids are mostly asymptomatic.

My land lady is well aware of my health concerns and I received a text from her 2 days ago volunteering to bring me anything if I needed it. I thanked her and told her I appreciated the offer but currently I'm good on provisions. But when I do go out I feel I'm taking adequate precautions anyway and "social distancing" is nothing new to me since in general I hate people.  ;D

I have a friend I've been conversing with who is absolutely, and justifiably, scared shit less because they suffer from COPD. And they live in a household with several people who are still working and in and out on a daily basis. They feel like they are trapped in prison.  :scared:

I had a sort of victory yesterday Mum's Doctor read her the riot act about avoiding non essential humans due to her immune system. She promptly left there and went out to Lunch at another near 80 year olds house. 'She doesn't go out much so ABC...' was the excuse  |O

Bubble Wrap suit, Leg Irons and confiscate the Car Keys she really shouldn't be using anyway......

Good to hear people are stepping up. Honestly I’m more scared of people than the disease. Also certainly understandably why people are shit scared. My ex is diabetic and has sarcoidosis so similar outcome there potentially as well. She’s not taking it seriously though. Not my funeral...

As for Siglent I was looking at telonic web site earlier  :-DD. I need (sorry want) a 6.5 digit DMM and nothing is out there.  >:(

Luckily My Mother is taking it seriously. She used to get together with a group of little old ladies and play cards but they all agreed to stay home. The only person who comes into the house right now is my sister-in-law on a daily basis to check on her and bring her what she needs. Even my brother for the time being is staying away because he's working and out and about.

I keep getting little grey/black bags in the mail, clearly those ebay sellers of Chinesium tat intend to continue operations indefinitely.

I recently re-acquired Final Fantasy 8. Together with FF7, 9, 10, and 10-2, I have plenty of vintage rpg goodness to keep me occupied.
I am contemplating a Game of Thrones box set to make up the remaining slack...

I just found a Datron 1281 on a local auction site. Seems it suddenly stopped working but was fine before, so a power supply issue would be a good bet and probably easy to fix. The meter itself looks like it just came out of the factory apart from yellow plastic disease on the keys.

There's one low bid so far and it finishes at 3PM on Monday.

I've just been paid as well. Damn.  :scared:

an old missile silo would come in handy. I could just pursue my hobby there and construct a real flying machine.
I still have my basically unlimited rocket fuel license ...
