Thank god I'm an old hippy. All this fuss about haircuts leaves me completely sanguine. The last time I had a haircut was, quite literally, last century.

Is that because you have long hair or no hair?

I'd have to be pretty impressively bald to go more than twenty years without a hair cut or head shave. No, very long, not as thick as it was (not a fraction as thick as I used to snap comb teeth off with my hair regularly), and heavily receded.

I just tried it. Did find out I can still get my foot in my mouth though which was an unexpected surprise 

Right so I spent the evening after minor STM32 victory drinking, listening to German techno and trying to find stuff on eBay. eBay is deader than my nan. Going to bed.

That's what my recently acquired 575 display looks like. It did have a slight rotation (mostly cured). Most of the problem seems to be the CRT clamp plastic is shattered from age.

So.. not something electronic but rather the display being actually rotated??

I think your origin may be off the screen.  Start with that.  Use the zero check switches and the respective horizontal and vertical position controls to position the origin at the top right corner of the screen, and take another pic of the result.

Dug up a PNP transistor, played around a bit and came to two conclusions:

- I have no idea what I'm doing with this thing
- This thing just works, doesn't it?

Yeah fine. Either I had this and it was uneventful or I had something else. Would be nice if we had some tests to check  . Temperature is gone now. Lost 4kg in weight in the last 6 days though so something was up and it wasn’t for lack of eating
