A couple more hours on the 184 and I am back to where I was before applying 130V to the 12V power rail, at least if you don't count all the reworked rework. Tomorrow I start working my way (again) through the countdown board to look for the crosstalk problem. I guess that's progress, right?
BG7TBL FA-2 and HP 53132a comparison. Both counters have the same GPSDO external reference supplied and both are measuring a second GPSDO, both set to 10sec gate. It seems to me the last digit is precise, just weird it has one more digit above 10MHz than the 53132a, I mean for a $110 come on!
That’s pretty damn good. May be a happy birthday present to myself next year. Takes up a lot less space than a 5334b.
Well you're on the first steps already what with being freshly married. Now you just wait about 13-15 years until you have teenagers and you'll not have enough cash to buy anything more than £100 because they eat everything you earn like a plague of locusts
That’s my 7 year old’s job. She got hold of three small blue packing peanuts the other day and cut them into a thousand little pieces. They’re stuck to everything now. I am going to have to hoover the bloody ceiling
Also got some ferric chloride stains on the washing machine. wonder who did that
LMAO. We've got a turmeric stain on the work top that nothing gets rid of. I have tried everything including IPA.Also got some ferric chloride stains on the washing machine. wonder who did that
My recent stupidity was spilling an entire mug of coffee on bench 2. If it hadn't been for the 2 coats of poly it would have been permanently stained.
Mrs Greywoolfe doesn't know what she is missing then, it is a welcome relief from the high temperatures of summer. We don't often get snow here in the South East of the UK. I think I can remember about 9 or 10 Christmases when we had snow.
In my younger days I could remove most stains using a solution of potassium dichromate in sulfuric acid.
