Yeah... my HANTEK 6022BL arrived today; I just handed it to my wife & asked her to wrap it & put it under the tree. ;)

I'm not buying ANYTHING ELSE online until February. :-DD

Let us know if it's horrible or not.  :-DD. Seriously I've considered one myself for a bit as they don't take up a lot of room and it's fine for LF stuff.

I MAY be going down the (Attachment Link) rabbit-hole; depends on how horrible the stock FW/Software is. We'll see.

Totes wish the Arrow Sale had happened a couple weeks ago; BEFORE I went into the red on Christmas prezzies for da kidzz...  |O

ALSO supports the 'scope functions of the 6022BL. It's kindof the "testbed" platform for the project for the last several generations.

And I DID say "may be going down the sigrok rabbit-hole". Depends on just how aggravating the stock FW/SW is. This Xmas prezzie is JUST to get me by. ;)

Woo is me, the forth coming TEA items I announced will not be coming now because I asked the seller put them into transporting mode to protect them for the rough handling, and he said that he didn't trust himself to that even though I had provided instruction how to it, only involved the setting of 2 rotary switches and bridging of 2 binding posts, instead he is returning the item to his Brother to sell  :wtf: I said if you don't have any wire to bridge the binding posts, piece of kitchen foil would do the job FFS, how simple are some people.... judging by the election results the answer to the question just has to be VERY  :-DD :-DD

I like that this model is clearly marked as dual-phaser capable; mine could only power one...  :o

Hi,

You could also try Openhantek6022, it uses a much better FW than stock Hantek.

This is why some of us old punks young farts, even with all the technology at our disposal, STILL feel a need to keep ONE old 260 or a Micronta Dual-FET in the cupboard... there are times when the needle movement and a small amount of loading are EXACTLY what you need to see what's going on. :-+

mnem
The right tool for the job.

I've got an Avometer 8 and a Hartmann & Braun Elavi 3 for much the same reasons. I find it most enlightening to run them in amps mode, on the power supply of the device under test.

I thought they were both using the same FW now, and the diff was primarily the GUI...?  :o

Not that I mind either way. ;)
