I was too slow getting ready for "Walkies" with the family... so I got last choice of hats. At least my daughter liked it.  :-DD

You may all now point and laugh. :P
No pointing or laughing here.  All I see is a daughter holding dad's hand and smiling.  (OK ... grinning like a Cheshire cat.)

That's the value in that shot.  The hat is just an excuse to keep it around.

We could handle a bit of that white stuff here, we have 4 days where the daily max temp was/will be over 40C, please pray for my airconditioner and the power network!
Whoah! Watch where that landed we might need it later.

Ditto.

We have a high of 44ºC predicted for Thursday in Sydney's west .... and 46º on Saturday.

I'd like to find a nice, deep cave.............

By the dollar/megahertz metric, a dead heat with the SC-502 offer, but if you assign some value to the other TM plugins, this offering is clearly the winner.  I assume (because I always give people the benefit of the doubt ;D ) that alcohol or drugs were being consumed while the seller was preparing the listing.

1For the exchange rate challenged, 667USD.
I forgot to mention when I replied to the original posting by bd139 earlier, that I have already contacted the seller to that his pricing was bat shit crazy and that best he could expect if luck and it was working OK, around £20, that £1 a Mhz.

Yeah... I figured no point in hiding it... might as well OWN it. Besides... a little indignity is a small price to pay for that smile.  ;)

Today's thrift store acquisition: 7.5m of plenum-rated 10base2 and a couple tees with 50Ω terminators. Not exactly exciting, but the cable is INMAC Clear Signal™ 20ga RG58/U, which means the assembly  has been sweep-tested to 350MHz at some point in its life. At the princely sum of 4 Canadian rupees, still worth glomming for the bench.  :-+

I recognize those tags as most likely from Savers. My wife and I will be at the nearby one tomorrow for our discount! I did find a 500VA 115/230VAC autotransformer there for cheap on one visit.

Yeah, this one is called Value Village; but they're all part of that same counterculture "non-profit... wink, wink" economy. You just know they have to be somebody's money-laundering racket or corporate tax write-off. :o

I've only been here a few months, but I've seen 4 or 5 such largish autotransformers in that time. They seem to be a "thing" here. :-// Or at least, dropping off such enheavyment-laden bits of electro-paraphernalia seems to be...

Oh - and while I think of it, I must thank those who have raised my awareness of the FA-2 counter.  A new itch - without the budget to scratch it ... unless I downscale Christmas.

This thread is full of interesting content - as well as rabbit holes.... One wrong step and it's a TEA party with Alice!

Don't worry .... Christmas is safe.  *sigh*

The Ender 3 is earning his keep. I printed a back panel for my Agilent 34401a. The original one exploded in 1001 pieces when I tried to remove the back boot.

Fit perfectly!

I think that modern printers are capable of enough resolution and scale that all the fettling Mechatrommer had to do to make his restoration look passable should be unnecessary. Here's hoping, anyways.  ;)

I was thinking you should be able to produce something quite civilized in one piece... what's the PV on the E3...?

NM... I looked it up: 220x220x250. I forgot the E3 was the little one; thinking it was the same as the CR10 & my Tornado at 300 x 300 330 x 400 410. :palm:
