Even in Germany, where the Hameg products are most numerous, I have not seen a base unit with two modules for under 100€. To the contrary, even empty base modules can be over 100.-.

Yeah, those Hameg modular units seem to go for quite a lot over here (at least people ask for a lot for them). £100 seems like a pretty good deal.

I occasionally keep an eye out for Tek P6021 current probes and just nabbed one on the 'Bay that had started at just $69. 
Got it for just over $235 with a few seconds to spare. 

That's my TEA budget gone for a bit as I don't need anything else....that I know of ! 

OK so I bought this fair and square with a single last minute bid with a max bid of a good bit more.
Paid for it a few days ago using the 'Bay option of additional delivery costs to a kind member that's prepared to on-ship it to me in NZ as the seller listed it was only for US delivery.

Now I get 'Bay mail the seller has cancelled the sale and a refund is coming !    

It's a sale contract is it not ? 
What's up with the world when you buy something fair and square only to have the buyer back out of the deal without so much as a message explaining why ?

My 100% buyers rating is at risk ! 
So wise 'Bay members, what can I do now ? 

So since that one ^ fell through and the seller cancelled the sale due to shipping address concerns  I spotted another starting real cheap and got it with a last minute and healthy bid.   
This one is a P6022 and higher BW (100 MHz vs 60) but bit lesser current rating so you have to be more careful when using it.


Still it was a good bit less than the other one that fell through which PayPal still hasn't credited me for ! 
I got up evilbay a bit about letting sellers cancel sales when they had a willing buyer and the forking thing was already paid for !

Between this and the stack of Tektronix gear, I guess I am more or less building a state-of-the art 70s calibration lab. 

That is as about spot on as you'll get with as well, good going, was it cheap or what? 

It wasn't as inexpensive as I would like but much less expensive than they are currently seem to be going for. I lost out on one a couple of weeks ago that cost almost as much being sold without any testing.

Now I just need to find someone locally that has a good calibrated DMM so I can calibrate my new calibrator and then calibrate all my DMMs.

As your calibrator exceeds the digits on your Fluke you obviously NEED 6 1/2 digits + 

Seriously given you are in the USA and that you now have a calibrator consider a one time calibration of the Fluke then apply that known back across your gear using the new Calibrator as part of that. The costs in the USA are typically a lot better than in Oz for example.

This is what I have been doing with my recently calibrated 34401A and 34461A using the pair of them to improve the level of confidence as I go over the other Calibrators and references I have. Next years plan will at this stage get only one of them re calibrated do an initial check against the other then go over the fleet again. Yes it is a circular Rabbit Hole
