I'm also going to put this out there: I don't care how much those speakers in the $1M system cost...they are BUTT UGLY.

Wow, is this a audiofool or an audiophil, thoughts please, but this is alledged to be a 1,000,000$ audio system and to me, it sounds nothing special at all.

And the unique thing about it is that does not use any capacitors at all in its design.

The power cables are touching the floor instead of being balanced on little hardwood bridges made by nude virgins and I bet the copper in the cable wasn't extruded in the correct direction for the flow of music. They obviously aren't taking this seriously!

In August 2003 I went to a concert of Nightwish. It was that really hot summer and when I was off
to the concert I noticed some dark clouds arising. Reached the place of the concert I spotted lots
of people wearing black clothes right in front of the stage. Then the concert starts, Tarja went on
the stage and all those people in front of the stage were singing "Happy Birthday!" Was a bit
surrealistic but Tarja was very amused. 
Meanwhile, the clouds were becoming very dark and threatening and the first raindrops were falling.
And then ... THEN ... Nightwish started with "End of all hope" and one big ass of a thunderstorm was starting!
Wow!
Best show ever! It pours, it hails, lightnings everywhere, growling thunder, storm!
And in all this mess Nightwish and hundreds of people, roaring "This is the End of all hope!"

I don't wanna stir the pot by this, but it's like the example I showed in some long-lost post where my friend had a NanoVNA case printed at the local library's 3D printer where he depended on them for the setup and slicing parameters. I emailed him a pic of the same file printed on mine and he was amazed at the difference. If people he showed that case to didn't know any better, they would think 3D printing kinda sucked.

As you know, the ultimate person that cares about the quality of your own work is yourself. And I don't doubt a bit that you care a lot, it's just that putting one of the main tools you depend on (perhaps two because I do not know if you did the slicing) out of your reach on purpose means you might never know how good it can work (for you).

I think this is a test from my middle one to ask "can he print a potato with it?" 

Antenna setup complete. Weirdness was because I had one leg longer than the other. The marker tape was supposed to have gone through the insulator.



1.55:1 is best VSWR bang on FT8 for this which is not bad because it is literally in the tree I am trying to murder.

So conclusion on NanoVNA. If you do anything remotely RF, buy one. It's bloody amazing. Also all that spare change you can get from selling your antenna analyser can go into buying a nice 3d printer ho ho ho

Edit: first test TX on RBN got me spots in France, Sweden, Switzerland, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Slovakia and Hungary

Ah, yes, sure. 
I just meant the "activity" 'staring at printing a potatoe'. I'm finding it hard to think of something dangerous while bd is staring at the growing PLA layer stack of this "potatoe" 
Btw, I've improved the ignition abilites of a potatoe gun from a friend of mine with one of these chinese HV modules:

I've bought one last Thursday because of your high praises.  .
Should be here by next week. I've ordered one with a case, because I don't have a 3D printer.
But I'm considering buying one (when the 3D printer wars are over and I have examined the debris)

Edit: next print. Designed myself. Parts tray for when I take test gear to bits. I found a few designs but I didn't like any so chucked this together. Has much more curved insides than the others meaning easier to get the parts out!
