Asking a favor here to TEA brotherhood, anyone can help me on purchasing the Rigol license , here -> https://www.eevblog.com/forum/buysellwanted/rigol-bnd-msods1000z-license-clearance-one-penny-at-tequipment-net/

It seems like the web is acting up, nope, disguised as American won't help as it verify my CC details with my address as I'm not American.

Were you able to get one? It appears that they are sold out now at the clearance price.

Ouch!  My back went out just looking at that gear!!

I had to check the location to see if Mr. Carlson was having a clearout.

It is only a 5 hour drive.  I have an empty van.

I trust that Bacon has Maple Syrup for a dipping sauce to aid border crossing ;D

Alas, no... it is all alone in a cold, dark refrigerator... :-[

Well, not entirely alone, I suppose... it does have about $20 worth of my favorite beef sausage snack sticks and Genoa salami to keep it company, all in a brand-new Igloo lunchbox I bought just to bring it. |O

If that is the price of escaping this toxic waste dump of a city, then I think I’m getting out cheap.

@Neomys Sapiens -  :-DD

@Everybody - Thanks for all the good wishes. We’re making our first pit stop a couple hours short of the border. Didn’t want to go to bed ever in Texas again, but as long as I wake up and we get out in the morning I’ll live with the disappointment.

Back to TEA..   8)
Yesterday my Agilent 3499A arrived and it's the first HPAK TE since all the damaged HP 8110A and parts that arrived well packed and undamaged*!  :-+
After a quick test I can't find any flaws, the display is bright and it works. GPIB control isn't tested yet though.
Here it is, it's already stacked:
851970-0

If I'd need 3488As or 3499As to house all the plugin cards I have I'd need two more units -but then one slot would remain unpopulated...  :scared:   :-DD

Completely non TE related 3d print from today. Print was 0.2mm so it's a bit rough and I didn't have time to smooth it but it was on a "same day turnaround" promise

First time I've touched a paint brush in about 25 years so you're seeing the good side  :-DD

Obligatory RPN calculator in background. Also I bought a Corsair K63 keyboard.

Back to TE now the kids have had their fun  :-DD
