Indeed. Case is rather nice. I'm happy. It will probably run with front off though. Keep airflow unrestricted. It's mostly light workload and no overclocking so it'll be fine for that.

The lost package has found its way to me:
It was delivered the next entrance of the appartment block I'm living in -to someone that I don't know and who doesn't know me.  :palm:

Gladly, this person came over to me yesterday asking when I would have liked to come and fetch my packet.   :o
After I explained to him that I didn't get any note and the hotline couldn't tell me to whom it was delivered to because the signature was unreadable he understood and was friendly again.   :)

I will use this front plate of a HP 3325B as a donator for the keyboard for my HP 3325B where the marking of one of the keys has faded away and the keys have turned their color to a yellowish tone:

I know, it's not a must at all but it's a hobby^Wan addiction, so I don't bother.    >:D

Only problem is: The 3325B is at the bottom of the stack...   :-DD

Interestingly ...with flashlight on the keypad to be replaced doesn't look yellowish on the photo but rather white.
But it's yellowish, believe me.

Edit: corrected model number from 3325A to 3225B

FYI for my buds here regarding the NanoVNA 3D printed case (at least the popular style).

In order to flash the firmware in .dfu mode you must short together the two pins shown in the pic until finished. If it's outside any case you can clip the pins together and all is well. But, since they do not have header pins, when it's inside the case, you cannot access the pins - they are covered by a supporting rib on the case.

I am adding header pins to the board in that location to make it easy to short out the pins either with a clip lead or a shorting block, which then means they will interfere with the case ribs. So I'm going to cut out the rib space required manually (not worth hours more printing just for this little mod). Just letting you know, if you want to add headers the case needs to be modded before printing (not hard to subtract that area in a CAD program), or you can cut it afterwards.

That is all, have a nice day.

I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

The 3325A and B models have different key hardware though, can you actually swap parts between A and B this way?

I know some of you in here are aircraft, especially warbirds, fans.

7 killed yesterday when a B-17 went down in Connecticut. There's only about 18 or so still flying.

No, I don't think so.
I just misspelled the model number.   :palm:
I have a 3325B (my photos show it..)

edit: corrected the misspelling in my two posts.

I thought these came with an extruded aluminum case like the DSO2x3? Or are those pics on fleaBay just of nicely refinished FDM cases like yours?

No, what you see is simply PCB material milled out and painted . The PCB covers don't have any copper under the paint either.

Ahhh... making an extra PCB and letting the silkscreen be your “finished product”. Have seen that before; guess I should’ve looked closer.

Will revisit when I again have time for such things.  ;)

Got this on the printer so my silicone cables don't get chaffed  ;)

Takes about 22m of filament with 4 layers all round and 25% infill. In the zip file if anyone else wants to give it a go too.
Nice! So please answer me some questions, as I would give the technology a try before jumping into the hole headlong.
What did that cost you to make (Material)?
Did you find that model or did you have to do 3d-CAD?
What is the material?
How long did it take to print?

Amazing picture! Those Nixie tubes in dim light  :-+

Can we have it on better resolution?

This should get you to the original photo:

I think it should be downloadable; if not and you want a copy let me know and I'll PM it to you or something.

Guys, could we all please just each take a deep breath and chill for a bit?

Look!  Nixies!!

Gaze at the pretty neon glow and breathe serenely.

careful there man!  you can overdose from too much of that.  try to limit your intake to one nixie device at a time, or you risk finding yourself unable to blink.

ps  is that a lucent gps?  am also a telephony aficionado.  (not much chance though of stirring up an at&t vs northern telecom vs gte war)

Close - it's the rubidium one.  I have the matching GPS unit as well, but have not gotten to obtaining and rigging an antenna for it so far.
