For Reference You used Traitorous and politics as some sort of defense for a difference opinion and your right to go on attacking the opinion of those that have  ACTUAL hands on knowledge and it was taken by @menmenth about how it looked as a personal attack. Your tirade aimed yet again with your last posts  aimed entirely @mnmenth did and will do ZERO to calm things down. Own up to inflaming the thread and don't ask us to swallow your line of the innocent and rational one here.

You have continued to waffle and get agro when ANYONE dares to question your opinion and in this case 3D printing and stating your absolute correctness which you seriously have about zero practical experience in. You can not demand or waffle this away and yet you continue to try.

So lets clear this up once and for all

number of designs of YOURS you have had 3D printed by any method? 1, 2-5, 5-10 10+

number of Prints made by other? 1-5, 6-10 or 10+

number of prints made by you on a printer under your control 0, 1-5, 6-10 or 10+

Careful you don't fall over your Halo while replying.
Coffee, Food, R/C and electronics nerd in no particular order. Also CNC wannabe, 3D printer and Laser Cutter Junkie and just don't mention my TEA addiction....

I’m done with this thread for a while, as the signal to noise ratio lately is becoming very poor indeed, and it’s neither enjoyable to read nor worth the time trying to get a word in edgewise on topic.

Budgetary constraints unfortunately. I’ll wait one year then upgrade.

Anyway I’m supposed to be taking the night off. Back to drinking like a fish....  :-DD

Edit: can’t afford to get drunk these days. £5.75 a pint  :scared:

Haha, wait till next month, it might cost that much to get a sniff of of a pint let alone drink one  :-DD

Nope, that's a VOM with "IBM" on the meter face. I have no idea who made it.

@med here is why I asked the question, when I zoomed in the photo the logo looked op me as if it read TMK as per the attached photo. I have one of these lovely old meters somewhere out in my garage which was slightly better in its accuracy then most meters of the day as most were in the day, on 20kOPV but the 500 was an eye watering 30kOPV without any electronics being involved.

Well, I guess you are partly correct. On this one it says "Model 200C" and is almost identical to yours.  :-+

The lost package has found its way to me:
It was delivered the next entrance of the appartment block I'm living in -to someone that I don't know and who doesn't know me.  :palm:

Gladly, this person came over to me yesterday asking when I would have liked to come and fetch my packet.   :o
After I explained to him that I didn't get any note and the hotline couldn't tell me to whom it was delivered to because the signature was unreadable he understood and was friendly again.   :)

I will use this front plate of a HP 3325B as a donator for the keyboard for my HP 3325B where the marking of one of the keys has faded away and the keys have turned their color to a yellowish tone:

I know, it's not a must at all but it's a hobby^Wan addiction, so I don't bother.    >:D

Edit: corrected model number from 3325A to 3225B

Guys, could we all please just each take a deep breath and chill for a bit?

Look!  Nixies!!

careful there man!  you can overdose from too much of that.  try to limit your intake to one nixie device at a time, or you risk finding yourself unable to blink.

ps  is that a lucent gps?  am also a telephony aficionado.  (not much chance though of stirring up an at&t vs northern telecom vs gte war)

Strange..
Looking after my GPSDO with Lady Heather I noticed over several days that the number of tracked satellites slowly decreased ... to zero.   :-BROKE

Changing the antenna to another one of the same type showed that indeed the antenna died.
But: No extreme weather conditions, no damage to the cabling. It just died.   :wtf:

Perhaps chinese quality as it was the antenna I got with my first chinese GPSDO made of a Trimble 57964-D that has also completely died in the meantime.  :palm:

Is it one of those black box patch antennas on a bit of wire. Those are total crap. Have killed one already myself just looking at it funny.

I think they are $2 shipped on aliexpress usually and most of that is shipping.

Edit: new computer turning up in dregs. Case and graphics card arrived from the same courier and van at completely different times and different consignments. Rest coming tomorrow!

Yep, it's one of those. Came directly from china.
I have two others, one branded by trimble and one that's designed in germany.
Those are still working fine.
And they also had better over all gain than that crappy chinese antenna from the beginning.

Lady heather together with several different types of GPSDOs is quiet addicting all alone.   8)

I smell Ryzen! Yummeh!!!

Almost as tasty as the allegedly fresh pot of coffee that just finished brewing! (“allegedly” just for bean, whom I can hear muttering “Coffee from a can is NOT fresh!” over there)  ;)

mnem
Good idea: Brewing a fresh pot of Chock-Full-O-Nuts coffee.
Bad idea: Brewing a fresh pot of Chock-Full-O-Butts coffee.
