I think it can take 10 MHz too, IIRC. I plan to try it anyway. Hmmm that's a neat little board. Thanks!

:palm: The link was in the first post and quoted  ;)

HA, I hear that. I've not been getting much sleep either, caused by the lovely season of Spring here in North America, where all the pollen does it's best to make my life miserable.  :--

I see now. :)

Box of horrors you say? Here's mine. All sorts of Tek parts. And when I'm done with that Vertical Board it will join it.

That's possibly not as bad as mine  :-DD

snip

And look what I just snagged! Tested working with warranty. Been after this exact power supply for about 2 years. They are pretty rare here.

There's a 320V 6209B up on ebay UK as well for £70 if anyone wants it. I want it but I'm getting out of budget now and need some Kempton money still. Plus I'll never use it or kill myself with it.

Oh interesting...my local surplus store has a about 3-4 of these last time I checked. Perhaps it would be worth picking one or two of them up.

I broke down on a 6201A.

Also, I recall someone (and probably others) was into calculators and Youtube AI supported my addiction to information with this video:

Someone has already coded up the Arduino stuff to make it run: http://f6kbf.free.fr/html/ADF4351%20and%20Arduino_Fr_Gb.htm

Have you seen the HBTE groups.io group?  Worth checking out if you haven't.

Then there is a parc-homebrew Arduino system that Youtube recommended the video and the description notes that is where the software is located.  I'm still waiting to become a member unless someone has the software and they can give me a copy.

Not a big deal since I don't have the ADF43XX modules yet.  I have an addiction to Test Equipment Software also.

That is part of the reason I wanted to sweep the output of my ADF based module. There is a few different SA type of projects around for them.

Indeed. I just walked from Waterloo to kings cross this morning and there was a lot of Europe flags. London gets it. The rest of the country not so much.

London gets it.

Isn't the City of London like it's own Crown Dependency or like is the higher/highest level that overseas all the Crown Dependencies and Territories Finance or something or other it's own thing?

I recall some theorize (or can reference what is and why exactly) Washington DC is like the World Military, City of London is like the World Finance and the Vatican is the World Religion headquarters.  That Burning Down intro is just how the leaders ways are to get what they desire and play natural social cycles with psychological operations more main stream now.

I advocate for my jurisdiction and pretty much have to stay focus on the TEAS so I don't go off on tangents and can explain in laymen terms systems capabilities and performance potential... plus exert my rights... for others too that are unaware, vulnerable and unknowing.  Great update on https://dewdefenseprojects.blogspot.com also.

I spent a little money over at Mini-Circuits and got myself a good head start on getting as standardized around SMA as I can. Impressed with the quality of everything for the prices. There's a few more things I want to order, and I'll probably be supplementing with Midwest Microwave stuff I can find on ebay. The SMA males on the coax are very nice, and the center conductor appears to actually be in spec and not too long like some of the shitty Amazon special cables I have (and will NOT be intermixing).
Whoa - you managed to stop after THAT? Amazing! Did you not see what else they have?

Diving deeper into the 465B channel 2 attenuator repair.

Channel 2 attenuator deck removed from the vertical mode board. Next step is to remove the rotary assembly from the leaf contact assembly. See those 4 little inserts off to the side? That's what is stripped in this assembly. These are good ones. I was able to remove them from the 465 parts mule switch. They simply snap into the place. Should make repair a lot easier since I won't have to disassemble the rotary itself and replace the entire plastic block.

More later.

@tggzzz: Like that diagram!

Just about anything by CGP Grey is information dense (unlike most yootoob videos) and entertaining.

A little closer to (your) home, tell us which country this field/road is in. Then zoom out. Then zoom out several more times.

There are lies, damned lies, statistics - and ADC/DAC specs.

More. Rotary assembly removed from attenuator board. New inserts installed. Simply popped into place. Attenuator board currently soaking in De-Oxit on both sides. Then hose down with IPA and blow dry.

Next step. Reassembly then a DC continuity test on all positions. That will tell if the repair is successful.
