Oh and speaking of cats. I like both cats and dogs but generally prefer cats. Have had several of both over the years. But not here. Landlord sez no pets.  :--

Pretty soon bd139 will chime in saying how much he hates cats.  :-DD

On tap for today, more DMM calibrations. Slowly getting everyone up to snuff.  :-+ Haven't found any real issues yet except for the 8600A which is a little sloppy but OK.

Need to order parts for other stuff but have to wait until the end of the month. These current unemployment payments barely cover normal expenses and I don't want to dip into other resources.

Decided to put the Tek 465B channel 2 issue back into the repair cue. I'm going to rip out that attenuator assembly completely and tear it down to the lowest level and see if I can fix it. At this point I have nothing to lose by trying.  :-+

Mostly dogs myself but I understand that a great furry pet gives great joy, but a sadness on their passing. We have 3 Airedale terriers at present, two 12yrs, one 14months, lots of cuddles with the older guys and joy watching the young dog chase and play with others at a local dog park. Our 8yo Airedale dropped dead in front of everyone 2yrs ago - bit tough for us but he went surrounded by his 'pack'. Hope I go like that when it is my turn.

18650-did you see TiNs hack putting in a LTZ1000 in a 3245a?

Hamfests are few and far between in my area. Last one I attended was very small and disappointing. But there is one I've never been to in April that looks promising. Marked it on my calendar.
