Yes, that one has the missing pages. Thanks, bean.

Do you mean "that one has no missing pages"? The way you've phrased that is a bit ambiguous - the first time I read it I took one meaning, the second time I read it I took the other.
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

I've stayed away. I've been a good boy. Been busy with other activities. But the TEA bit me in the arse big time today. I couldn't resist.

They followed me home. I can't turn them away. Tek Military OS 245 P/U (Civilian 7603N) and 465 with DM44. The OS 245 works. The 465 doesn't. Both are extremely filthy. Gonna take a lot of TLC but I'm up to the challenge.

I give up. I'm addicted.  :-DD

If by "friends" you mean TEA junkies who will snipe you in the back on Ebay to add that 27th multimeter to their collection because it has an option that the three otherwise identical meters they already have are missing, then yes, you're among friends.  :)

Yes, it is ambiguous without the context of the prior posts of the conversation. To sum up, the manual that bean posted a link to has the pages of specifications that were missing from the versions that I had previously downloaded from other sources. The status of any other pages are heretofore unconfirmed. However, he did say that it "seems complete."

Some of the obvious numbers like 32768KHz and 100 kHz are out of range and there are not as many obvious choices in the lower range. If I get 16 kHz I will be able to easily flipflop it down to 1 kHz. That would allow for both a higher frequency and that 1 KHz. Or I make 1 kHz the low number, though I've been thinking about the line frequency too.
I think I like the 100 Hz and 16 kHz combination, as they're fairly versatile on their own and happily divided down into even more useful frequencies through both decade and flip flop division. 300 Hz and 18 kHz could be another option, as the former is divisible into 50, 60, 75 and 100 Hz and the latter convenient to divide down and near the maximum.

Choices, choices.

Thanks, also theres another one on ebay for 150 shipping included... you know you want to  :-DD

Of course I want to. Could resurrect my tubes and get mesmerized by the warm glow.  ^-^

I almost got one of those a few times. Interested to hear about your impressions after you've had some time with it.
Totally the same on my side! Last one was just a few days ago-

Dammit! After some weeks hiatus, I looked at the evil bay again the day before. Yet I didn't notice this. Guess my search pattern is just lousy.  :--

300 Hz is a good idea. I like that. Not sure how to choose between 16 and 18 kHz.

The official forum time is "Current forum time: 01 April 2018, 02:47:14". Are we having the annual problem where 90% of the world can't work out that the date line is slightly to the east of Australia?

And here we go. There's a DST/time zone bug somewhere as well as I see 02:51. FFS  :palm:

I would like the opportunity to say "fuck my life" because I am resident timelord at my company which means fixing shit and brow beating people into understanding all this. Appears I can't even get away from that at home.

In this day and age, we should just switch to UTC and be done with it. But, who am I to complain — I'm still stuck with feet and Fahrenheit. :palm:

Agreed. It’s just a number. If lunch time is at 7 or 11 who cares.

It’s a mess here. We had some stupid fucks backing imperial measures still to the point they changed road signs and refused to mark up goods in metric. They got owned pretty quickly though. Now if only we could sort out road signs.

The biggest joke of all is that bd139 and I are only about 35 miles away from each other but apparently that equates to 2 time zones  :palm:

My car speedo is in miles so are the route signs on the roads so for me its miles still  :-DD on the plus side however, my car also displays the speed in km's as a small digital readout so you can take your pick which you use. >:D

The forum copes badly with summer/daylight saving time changes in different countries. Go to https://www.eevblog.com/forum/profile/?area=theme and look what it has for "Time Offset" then correct it because it is almost certainly wrong. Do this whenever the clocks change in your locale OR in Australia. (The forum servers, BTW, are in the US but run the forum on Aus time. What the operating system thinks the local time is, is anybodies' guess.)
