Two weeks ago we have cleared the house of a friend of mine. As I promised on Discord, here are some pictures of the stuff I took:
Let's start with this nice package of fifty Fuji Numitrons 3015F:
Next are some scope tubes. The Cossor one is looking very old, I didn't found anything online. A friend of mine is running a little museum with lots of vintage devices, mostly vacuum tube powered. The museum has also a section for old test equipement and I'll ask him if he is interested in this old scope tube.
The Cossor Cathode Ray Tube from the UK:
The next tubes are from Philips and one from Valvo, I think. The Philips are coming in two different colours, DG (green) and DB (blue).
Let's start with the DG 7-32 from Valvo
These are DB-7-2, tiny and very cute scope tubes, including some sockets:
This is a DB-9-3, a bit bigger than the others
This is another DG 7-32/01, not sure, what the /01 is about, maybe an indicator for the fade-out-time.
And then I got two bench meters, a Keithley 2100 (has some issues with the VFD) and a Fluke 8845A. The HP 34401A is mine, last calibration Oct. 13th 2015 (Keysight Böblingen). I've sent it to Keysight shortly after I'd bought it.
This is the stack, measuring 5V from a DMMCheck r3 from Mr. Malone. The Keithley is a bit off, the Fluke and the HP are agreeing nicely.
Same stack, measuring 1mA coming from the DMMCheck. Same here: Fluke and HP are agreeing, the Keithley is a bit off.
Let's have a look at the resistance measuring part. I took my DIY 10kOhm reference resistor and measured it with the 4-wire technique.
The Fluke:
The Keithley (again, it is a bit off):
The HP:
And here are some details, e.g. calibration date, system version etc.
Let's start with the Fluke: cal date, display test (slight burn-in visible), system version. You have for sure noticed this "Error" indicator. But when I checked out the error messages, there was nothing.
Error gone.
Next is the Keithley, cal date, system version and no errors:
And that's it.
Thanks for watching.
