ESI DEKASTAT 5 PACK

Hey, just something I picked up the other day. So far I spotted the nice DS1463 write up on the net.

ESI Dekastat DS1463 5 independent units on one panel. With some fiddling each unit can be set very close to 10K Ohms.

I wonder what it's main use was? POTENTIOMETER PANEL. Any ideas for a modern hook-up?
