how to calibrate Victor Vc97
« on: January 10, 2023, 12:41:58 pm »
hi gays...
i have huge problem by vc97...
after By mistake, I tried  to test a high frequency for measurement. More importantly, Multimeter played a certain sound like start music and then the calibration got messed up!!!
In the voltage range has a permanent negative offset digit , in frequency range and the capacitor are messed up.The numbers are not as accurate as before.
All parts and transistors were checked and are OK.
i did flash the IC EPRROM  with the file copied from the same like device ok, but also it did not work.
There are two point on the back of the board that go into calibration mode by connecting these two ,and calibrate process started... but I don't know Exactly how to do it.
chip is DS-HY12P66 (DTM0660)
eeprom 24c02

Dear engineers, I am asking for help.   to this problem.
Thank you very much

There was no damage to the hardware
But I saw the movie, but it did not specifically mention this issue

No, but it shows that measuring high frequencies can be very bad for multimeters.

Another joe smith test -- trying to power up an Aneng 8008 with a 200 MHz signal applied:

I am an electronics repairman..so i tested all
but only i had one question:
