I have a couple of Tek lunchbox scopes (TDS 3k) that I have had for years and use them occasionally. Some time ago I ran into a friend of mine that used to work in that group at Tek and he mentioned there are a series of internal hardware jumpers that can be configured to enable higher bandwidth capability. Unfortunately he doesn't recall the details. This is apparently how it was done long before the present day "options" are software configured in firmware.
Does anyone know anything about this? If so, please post or PM me with details.
Thanks
