How to update firmware through ST link V2

I want to upload firmware for my 121gw eeVBlog through ST-link like this picture

I used st-link v2 of another board stm to program for 121GW but can not

I'm fairly sure you need to turn on the power of the 121GW in order to able to communicate with the chip.

Flashing the downloaded firmware file using a ST-Link is a bad idea. The file doesn't contain the bootloader or your meter specific calibration data.

What has happened to your EEVblog meter that it needs a replacement LCD and the firmware to be flashed using a ST-Link?

There is a bootloader inside the STM32, so you don't need to do it via STLink, you can put your binary on the SD card to flash it. Check out how to update the firmware 'normally'. Also checkout the firmware hacking thread to see what people have done already :)
